Friday, February 20, 2009 I donâ??t know your mom, but I went thru what your mom did with my mom. She had a tumor the same kind for a year from Feb 2008 Jan 21 2009 when she passed away yes we loved her very much we took care of her at home it is very tough right now, God Bless You

My mom was diagnosed w/ GBM in May '08 & 7 months later, my Dad was diagnosed w/ lung cancer. We are in the middle of the worst fight of our lives and each day is a struggle. Mom had her tumor removed, did radiation & chemo and was okay for a few months. Now, however, her tumor is back and growing rapidly. We have been told she does not have much time left with us. I feel completely alone so stumbling upon websites like this help me realize I'm not. I wish I knew what we were in for and what we can expect. I think the fear of the unknown is the worst part. Gayle- She was the best grandma anyone could ever have! :) I remember like a whole story that I wrote about her for a school project. Sometimes I wish could have been there for her more. I still feel bad that i have not been to one of her rides.:( I Wasn't there for her funeral either. I still donâ??t think I deserved all the kindness she gave. I know one thing for sure though, I miss her very much, but I canâ??t let he go.
